KPN The Network Challenge
Prove that your personal network is the best and win 50 iPhones to give away to all your friends!
The brief
KPN – the leading phone operator in The Netherlands – asked Energize to create buzz around the introduction of the iPhone 4.
The Solution
We turned KPN’s pay-off ‘Such an iPhone deserves a top notch network’ into ‘Such a network deserves an iPhone!’ By turning it around the campaign became social. Proof that your network scores best on speed, range, capacity and reliability and win 50 iPhones to give away to all your friends!
How does it work
4 weeks. 4 challenges. Each challenge tested the personal network of the participants. Ranging from guessing as fast as possible where snapshots where taken (speed). To receiving a text message at a random time, perhaps at 3 o’clock in the morning, and getting friends to respond to it (reliability). To finding people that can take a photo at the 7 world wonders with your username in the picture (range)! The participants capable of withstanding these challenges where invited at an event in Amsterdam to join in the last challenge: get as much friends to check in at one of The Network Challenge venues on foursquare!
